JLG Research provides statistical analysis for construction of charts and tables used in financial publications. Tables generally involve present/future value calculations for retirement planning, college planning, and loan (mortgage) financing scenarios. Mutual fund charts typically include wealth accumulation (growth) and efficient frontier display of portfolio return versus risk (asset allocation). We provide quantitative and statistical analysis, while clients provide assumptions and equity/fixed income return data used in the calculations. Clients are responsible for (1) obtaining all necessary permissions from suppliers of index return data, and (2) following legal publication requirements of providers when sourcing financial data used in published charts and tables.
